Bolan, January 17 — Pakistan Peoples Party Kachhi leader Rais Farhan Jamali has strongly condemned the alleged killing of landlord and social figure Nadir Ali Jamali in a fake police encounter in Dadu district of Sindh. He termed the incident a grave violation of human rights and an example of police brutality.
In his statement, Rais Farhan Jamali said that Nadir Ali Jamali belonged to a respectable family and was known for his social services without discrimination. He rejected police allegations of theft as baseless and claimed the victim was deliberately targeted due to his social and political influence.
Jamali alleged that the killing was an attempt to silence a respected voice and described it as a stain on the credibility of Sindh Police. He demanded that the Sindh government and senior police leadership take immediate notice of the incident.
Calling for justice, he urged the Inspector General of Police Sindh to constitute a judicial commission, suspend the officers involved, and register murder cases against them. He warned that failure to deliver justice would compel the Jamali community to organize large-scale protests across Sindh.
