Balochistan National Party (BNP) has strongly condemned the arrest of its central leader Malik Abdul Majeed Kakar, terming it a politically motivated act.
In a press release, BNP said unlawful arrests, night raids, and violations of sanctity of homes have increased under the current political setup.
The party stated that cases against its leadership, including anti-terrorism charges, reflect victimisation.
BNP demanded the immediate release of Malik Abdul Majeed Kakar, warning that repression will not weaken the party’s resolve.
