QESCO Announces Power Outages in Various Areas of Quetta

The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in different areas of Quetta due to development works, line shifting, installation of electric poles, and essential maintenance and testing activities.
According to a QESCO spokesperson, on January 20 (Tuesday), electricity supply will remain suspended from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm from the 11kV Khair Bakhsh Marri, Joint Road, Old Liaquat Bazaar, Ghazi, Hazara Town, New Jan Muhammad and Old Jan Muhammad feeders connected to the Sariab Grid Station. On the same day, power supply from the Sheikh Manda Grid Station’s 11kV Airport Road, Dosteen, Takatu, Adyan, Umar, Chashma and Dareem feeders will remain suspended from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
On January 21 (Wednesday), electricity will remain unavailable from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm from the 11kV Nawan Killi, Alam Khan and Malik feeders of the Quetta City Grid Station, as well as the Western Bypass, Jabal Noor and Khurot Abad feeders of the Sheikh Manda Grid Station.
QESCO further stated that on January 20 and 21, power supply from the Nawan Killi Bypass and Sahibzada feeders of the Zarghoon Grid Station will remain suspended daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Additionally, for maintenance and testing of transmission lines and electrical installations, electricity supply from the 132kV Bhag Grid Station will remain suspended on January 20 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. On January 21, power supply from the 132kV Wadh Grid Station will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, while electricity from the Baghbana Grid Station will remain unavailable from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm due to checking and testing work.
QESCO has apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and requested their cooperation during the scheduled outages.
