Nasirabad: Provincial Minister and Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Mir Saleem Ahmed Khan Khoso, has lauded the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan for thwarting a major terrorist plan in the Dasht area of Mastung district.
In his statement, Mir Saleem Khoso said terrorists were planning attacks on a key highway, targeting security forces and civilians. However, timely, professional, and effective action by CTD Balochistan neutralized the threat and saved the province from potential devastation.
He stated that the successful operation not only saved precious human lives but also strengthened efforts to maintain peace and stability in the province. Paying tribute to CTD and other law-enforcement agencies, the minister said officers and personnel continue to serve the public selflessly, risking their lives to ensure safety.
Mir Saleem Khoso reaffirmed that Balochistan is becoming increasingly hostile for anti-state elements and operations against terrorism will continue until lasting peace is achieved. He urged the public to cooperate with law-enforcement agencies and report suspicious activities promptly.
