Quetta: The Regional Meteorological Center Balochistan has warned of severe to extremely cold and dry weather across most parts of the province. According to the forecast, night temperatures in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Mastung, Noshki, and Qalat may drop between minus 4 and minus 6 degrees Celsius, with colder wind chill effects during morning hours.
Strong winds are expected in several districts, including Kech, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Harnai, and Zhob, while dust storms may affect Washuk, Kharan, Panjgur, and Kech. On Saturday, cold to very cold conditions are expected to persist, particularly in northern and northwestern areas. During the past 24 hours, rain and snowfall were recorded in several districts, with Qalat registering the lowest temperature at minus 12 degrees Celsius.
