President Asif Ali Zardari has praised the Pakistan Navy for conducting a successful rescue operation in the open sea, approximately 1,500 kilometres from Gwadar.
In a statement issued by the President House Media Wing, the president lauded the professional competence and swift response of Pakistan Navy ships PNS Moawin and PNS Tabuk in carrying out the operation.
President Zardari said the Pakistan Navy fulfilled its international responsibilities by protecting human life at sea, regardless of nationality. He added that such actions reflect the navy’s commitment to humanitarian principles and maritime safety.
The president commended the officers and crew involved for their dedication and professionalism, stating that Pakistan’s naval forces continue to play a responsible role in ensuring safety and rescue operations in international waters.
