Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed satisfaction over a successful intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in Panjgur district, lauding their professionalism, bravery, and timely response.
In a statement, the chief minister said the operation against terrorists backed by foreign elements demonstrated that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully capable and vigilant in defending the country and safeguarding its citizens. He emphasized that such actions clearly reflected the state’s resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of security personnel in the fight against terrorism, stating that their services would always be remembered. He reaffirmed that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
The chief minister reiterated that there is no space in Balochistan for anti-state elements attempting to disrupt peace and stability. He said that counter-terrorism operations would continue without discrimination and with full force to ensure the protection of lives and property across the province.
He further stated that the provincial government would maintain close coordination and full cooperation with security agencies to strengthen peace and stability in Balochistan.
Referring to the National Action Plan approved by the Federal Apex Committee, the chief minister said that under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” terrorism sponsored by foreign actors would be completely eradicated.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making every possible sacrifice for lasting peace, development, and prosperity in Balochistan. He also commended the security personnel involved in the operation and extended his best wishes to them.
