Islamabad – The President of Islamabad High Court Bar, Wajid Gilani, addressed allegations regarding the arrests of Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha. He categorically denied any collusion with police, asserting that neither he nor the Bar intentionally handed over the individuals. Wajid Gilani highlighted that anticipatory bail applications had already been filed in the relevant cases, with the Chief Justice and Secretary informed. He added that police had surrounded the High Court, prompting him to bring the detainees to the Bar office for safety. The statement comes amid growing public scrutiny over the arrests and political implications surrounding legal and procedural conduct in high-profile cases.
