Islamabad: The National Assembly has approved an increase in facilities for the Opposition Leader to ensure they can perform duties effectively. According to the law, the Opposition Leader will receive additional office space, a vehicle, and dedicated secretariat staff. Lawmakers from both government and opposition agreed that this step maintains political balance and strengthens democratic oversight. The enhancements will be incorporated in the upcoming fiscal year budget, guaranteeing uninterrupted administrative support. The decision aims to empower the Opposition Leader to carry out parliamentary responsibilities efficiently, including legislative scrutiny and policy review, reinforcing accountability in governance.
