Independent Report
Washington, Feb 4:
The Trump administration has agreed to Iran’s request to shift the venue of ongoing negotiations from Turkey to Oman, according to foreign media reports. The talks between the United States and Iran are now expected to take place in Oman on Friday.
Reports indicate that the decision was made following Iran’s formal request, which was accepted by the US administration in an effort to facilitate dialogue. Earlier, former US President Donald Trump stated that Iran appeared eager to make progress but added that it remains uncertain whether the talks would yield concrete results.
Diplomatic observers believe Oman’s role as a neutral mediator could help create a more conducive environment for negotiations. The development comes amid renewed international attention on regional stability and diplomatic engagement between Washington and Tehran.
