Quetta, Feb 4:
Director of Youth Forum for Kashmir, Sher Ahmed Baloch, has said that Kashmir Solidarity Day reflects Pakistan’s continued commitment to the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination. In a statement, he said February 5 serves as a reminder that the Kashmir issue remains unresolved.
He highlighted decades of military presence and human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir, stating that such actions contradict democratic claims. Sher Ahmed Baloch noted that solidarity events held in Pakistan and abroad amplify the Kashmiri voice on international platforms.
He emphasized the role of youth in raising awareness through research, advocacy, and peaceful engagement. He added that the Youth Forum for Kashmir remains actively involved in mobilizing young people to highlight the issue globally. He stressed that solidarity efforts must continue until Kashmiris receive their internationally recognized rights.
