Paris, February 5, 2026: The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with strong turnout from French nationals and the Pakistani-
Kashmiri diaspora, reaffirming support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan were read, followed by a documentary on the Kashmir dispute and ongoing human rights violations by Indian forces.
Speakers condemned India’s 5 August 2019 actions as a violation of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and called on the international community to hold India accountable in one of the world’s most militarized regions.
Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch highlighted Pakistan’s enduring political and diplomatic support, urging the diaspora to educate younger generations about the historic Kashmiri struggle. She stressed that the fight for freedom, alive since 1947, remains a just cause grounded in UNSC resolutions.
