Chaman: A comprehensive tree plantation campaign has been formally launched across Chaman district under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangulzai. The initiative commenced at Kojak Park, where the Deputy Commissioner planted a sapling to mark the start of the drive.
Speaking on the occasion, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai stated that transforming Chaman into a green and vibrant district is a top priority of the district administration. He said efforts would be made to develop Kojak Park into an environmentally exemplary recreational site.
He highlighted that tree plantation not only enhances the natural beauty of an area but also plays a vital role in reducing environmental pollution by producing oxygen. A greener Chaman, he added, is essential for fostering positive thinking and promoting public health.
The Deputy Commissioner urged citizens, students, and social organizations to actively participate in the plantation campaign and ensure proper care and protection of the saplings so they may grow into healthy, shade-giving trees. He reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to continuing the campaign with determination to make Kojak Park and the entire district greener and more environmentally sustainable.
