Ziarat, February 16: Deputy Commissioner Ziarat, Abdul Quddus Achakzai, held a khuli kachahri (public grievance session) in Union Council Zandra to address citizens’ concerns and ensure timely resolution of their issues, in line with the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir.
The session witnessed participation from district officials and residents from remote areas, with a large number of citizens presenting petitions regarding various administrative, social, and civic issues. Deputy Commissioner Achakzai issued on-the-spot instructions for the immediate redressal of matters falling under the jurisdiction of the district administration.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized that the primary goal of the khuli kachahri is to resolve public problems at their doorstep. He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring access to education, healthcare, and all essential services for the people of Ziarat.
He highlighted ongoing initiatives to strengthen law and order in the district, noting that criminal elements have been effectively neutralized, paving the way for peace and security. Infrastructure development projects are also underway to enhance living standards across the district.
Deputy Commissioner Achakzai urged citizens to continue raising their issues through official forums, assuring them of the administration’s full commitment to resolving complaints promptly. “Our foremost priority is the welfare of the people, providing them access to education, health, and other essential facilities, and addressing their grievances directly at their doorstep,” he said.
The khuli kachahri served as a platform for effective engagement between the district administration and the public, reinforcing the government’s mission of responsive and citizen-centric governance in Ziarat.
