Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has strongly condemned a suicide attack at an FC check post in the Mamond area of Malangi, district Bajaur.
He described the martyrdom of security personnel and a young girl in the attack as deeply tragic. Immediate instructions have been issued to rescue agencies to accelerate relief operations, particularly efforts to recover individuals trapped under debris.
The Chief Minister said the provincial government stands with the families of the martyrs and reiterated that acts of terrorism cannot weaken national resolve. He stressed the need for a comprehensive and effective strategy to eliminate terrorism, calling it a shared national challenge.
He added that operations against anti-peace elements across the province would be intensified to ensure public safety and stability.
