Kalat, February 19 – Deputy Commissioner Kalat, Munir Ahmed Durrani, has reaffirmed that delivering high-quality healthcare to citizens is a top priority and a collective responsibility, pledging continued full support to the Kalat Health Department.
Under his chairmanship, the monthly District Health Management Committee meeting convened key officials including Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahnawaz Baloch, DHO Dr. Anjam Baloch, MS Teaching Hospital Dr. Nasrullah Langov, DSM PPHI Mujeeb Baloch, Deputy DHO Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Noorzai, in-charge RHC Manday Haji Dr. Fida Baloch, Dr. Munawar, Drug Inspector Dr. Muhammad Tahir, Aftab Dehwar from the District Accounts Office, District Medicine Store in-charge Dr. Wasim Lango, and Superintendent DHO Office Rizwan Haider.
The session addressed critical health sector challenges, including staff attendance at hospitals, personnel shortages, transfers and postings, medicine supply, ambulance provision, and basic facilities at BHUs, along with other operational issues.
DC Munir Ahmed Durrani emphasized that a healthy society depends on consistent and efficient healthcare delivery. He instructed all doctors and technical staff to maintain regular attendance at their assigned posts and warned that negligence or lapses in duty will not be tolerated, stressing accountability and service quality as non-negotiable standards for the district.
