Loralai, February 19 – In line with directives from Commissioner Loralai Division Wali Muhammad Bareech, the district administration has ramped up efforts to ensure affordable access to essential goods during Ramadan. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ismail Mengal and Chief Officer Municipal Committee Mohibullah Khan Baloch conducted an extensive inspection of the Ramadan Sasta Bazaar, reviewing administrative arrangements, pricing, supply systems, and product quality.
Officials examined multiple stalls, cross-checked prices against the official rate lists, and instructed shopkeepers to maintain high standards of quality while selling essentials at regulated rates.
ADC Ismail Mengal emphasized that providing affordable and quality items during the holy month is a top priority. He warned that any hoarding, profiteering, or arbitrary price increases would not be tolerated, directing staff to maintain continuous availability of goods, ensure transparent monitoring, and address public complaints promptly so citizens could fully benefit from relief measures.
Chief Officer Mohibullah Khan Baloch added that efforts are underway to enhance cleanliness, security, parking, and other basic facilities at the bazaar, creating a safe and convenient environment for visitors. He stressed that monitoring will continue throughout Ramadan to guarantee maximum public benefit.
The proactive initiative has been well-received by local residents, who welcomed the administration’s measures to mitigate inflationary pressures and provide essential goods at fair and reasonable prices.
