KP Chief Minister Reviews Service Delivery Under Good Governance Roadmap

Peshawar, February 19, 2026: Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi chaired a high-level meeting to evaluate service delivery by provincial departments under the Good Governance Roadmap. Officials presented detailed updates on completed targets and ongoing initiatives. The Chief Minister stressed that aligning services with public expectations is the government’s top priority, warning that no negligence or delay will be tolerated.
Key directives included completing all midterm roadmap measures by June, restoring non-functional tube wells, and ensuring 100% teacher attendance in government schools. The Spring Tree Plantation Campaign was set to become the province’s largest and most organized drive, with active participation from government employees, students, and civil society.
Other priorities highlighted were the Roshan Qabail Package for merged districts, fast-track completion of the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Program, recruitment of contract doctors, introduction of mammography services, acceleration of infrastructure projects, and strengthened security for anti-polio teams. The Chief Minister emphasized good governance, transparency, and effective service delivery as KP government’s foremost objectives.
