JAFFARABAD, Feb 20: A high-level review meeting on the anti-polio campaign was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan to assess performance and strengthen future strategies.

Health officials, including the District Health Officer and representatives of the polio program, presented detailed reports from union councils. The previous campaign was largely successful, achieving satisfactory coverage through door-to-door vaccination efforts.

However, minor administrative gaps were identified in certain areas, prompting directives for improved micro-planning and enhanced monitoring of high-risk zones. The deputy commissioner stressed 100 percent tracking of absent children to ensure no child is left unvaccinated.

Officials also decided to intensify awareness campaigns and strengthen community engagement before the next drive. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to achieving the national goal of complete polio eradication through coordinated and sustained efforts.
