Thatta, February 21, 2026: On the special directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharijo, SSP Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bajarani chaired a high-level security meeting at Thatta Police Station to review arrangements ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
The meeting was attended by SDPO Thatta, SDPO Sakro, DSP UT, SHOs, post in-charges and other officers. A comprehensive security strategy was devised to maintain law and order, prevent crime and ensure a safe environment for citizens during Ramadan.
Strict security measures were ordered for major mosques, imambargahs, shrines and religious sites. Effective patrolling and snap checking during Taraweeh prayers were directed, along with special traffic deployment during Iftar and Taraweeh hours to ensure smooth flow on main roads and markets.
The SSP directed continued crackdown against proclaimed offenders, motorcycle and car lifters, snatchers, drug dealers and those involved in illegal liquor trade. Officers were instructed to remain present in the field and ensure immediate response to any emergency.
