Qila Abdullah, February 21: The Excise & Taxation Department carried out significant operations across Qila Abdullah to eradicate illegal narcotics cultivation. Acting on confidential information, officials raided multiple locations where poppy cultivation was suspected.
During the operation, poppy crops spanning 120 acres were destroyed on the spot. Additionally, 2 tube wells and 49 solar panels used for illicit cultivation were seized. Authorities confirmed that the confiscated equipment was being used to promote illegal drug production.
Officials stated that operations against narcotics will continue without exception, and strict legal measures will be taken against those involved. The department reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against drugs, employing all available resources to rid society of this menace.
