Chaman Administration Launches Anti-Polio Drive, Vaccinates Thousands
Chaman, Feb 20,The district administration of Chaman has launched a comprehensive anti-polio drive, vaccinating thousands of children against the debilitating disease.
The drive, which is part of a broader campaign to eradicate polio from the region, has seen health workers going door-to-door to administer polio drops to children under the age of five.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Banglizai and District Health Officer Dr. Ismat Achakzai chaired a review meeting to discuss the progress of the drive and ensure its success.
The administration has set up vaccination centers throughout the district and has appealed to the public to cooperate with health workers to ensure all eligible children are vaccinated.
The drive is expected to continue for several days, with the administration confident of achieving its goal of eradicating polio from the region.
