MIRPUR MATHELO(By Tanveer Ahmed Soomro ) Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali distributed checks worth 18 lakhs to 96 deserving women and men under Zakat Department.
According to the details, Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali distributed checks worth 30,000 to 51 deserving men and women as dowry among 45 deserving girls of the district and 10,000 to 51 deserving men and women. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner gave instructions to the Chairman Zakat Committee to take effective measures to provide Zakat to the women of the entire district in a transparent manner according to the policy of the Sindh Government so that the problems of poor people can be reduced. But the deserving people have the right, so the Zakat Committee should be active at the Union Council level. On this occasion, Chairman Asmatullah Khan told the Deputy Commissioner that under the Zakat Department, 45 deserving girls were given Rs 30,000 each as dowry, while 51 deserving women and men were given Rs 10,000 each under the Permanent Rehabilitation Program. which is the total amount of 18 lakh 91 thousand 450.

Amina D/o Khan Muhammad Kalwar of village Siddique Kalwar got married to a young man Mansoor Ali Kalwar son of Pir Bakhsh Kalwar in the court of Ghotki. Alleging the abduction of the girl, stormed the young man’s house and set the young man’s house on fire. On the other hand, Amina, a married woman of choice, talked to the media along with her husband and said that no one kidnapped me. Yes, I have willingly left home and married Mansoor Kalwar.

A woman traveling from Sadiqabad to Sukkur died at Mirpur Mathilo bus stop. The body was shifted to DHQ Hospital. She alighted at the Mirpur Mathelo bus stop and died, whose body was immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo.
