Gilgit-Baltistan Health Secretary Visits Tangir Hospital to Improve Facilities
Tangir,(GB) Jan. 28: Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan, Asifullah Khan, visited the THQ hospital in Tangir along with Director Health Dr. Shaukat Ahmed Khan and DHO Dr. Riaz Raees. The visit aimed to review the facilities provided to the public and the ongoing renovation work at the hospital.
During the visit, the local community expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, Secretary Health, Director Health, and Assistant Commissioner Tangir, Khalid Mahmood, for their efforts in improving the hospital’s facilities. The community appreciated the activation of the hospital’s laboratory and the renovation work, which is being carried out to modernize the hospital.
This was the Secretary Health’s second visit to the Tangir hospital, following his previous visit where he took steps to address the hospital’s issues, resulting in the resolution of most of the problems. The visit demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving healthcare facilities in the region ¹.
