Balochistan Government Initiates Free Textbook Distribution for Students
Quetta, Jan. 28: The Balochistan government has launched a province-wide initiative to distribute free textbooks to students, with the first phase covering eight districts, including Quetta, Pishin, Khuzdar, Kech, Lasbela, Naseerabad, Panjgur, and Sibi.
Provincial Minister for Education, Rahila Hamid Khan Durrani, announced the initiative during a ceremony organized by the Balochistan Textbook Board. The minister emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting education and ensuring that all students have access to quality educational resources.
The free textbook distribution program is part of the government’s efforts to improve the education sector in Balochistan. The initiative aims to benefit students across the province, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary Education, Saleh Muhammad Naseer, Chairman Balochistan Textbook Board, Dr. Gulab Khan Khalji, and other officials.
