Anti-Narcotics Force Launches Nationwide Crackdown on Smuggling
Islamabad. Feb. 20: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on narcotics smuggling, resulting in the arrest of six suspects and the seizure of over 493.47 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs. 8 crore.

The ANF conducted nine operations across different cities, including Karachi, Faisalabad, Lahore, Quetta, and Islamabad. In Karachi, 10.6 kilograms of ice were seized from a parcel destined for Australia. In Faisalabad, 1.210 kilograms of heroin were recovered from a parcel bound for France.

Other significant seizures include:
– Lahore: 1.660 kilograms of ice hidden in ladies’ clothing, seized from a parcel destined for Hong Kong
– Quetta: 455 kilograms of charas seized in two separate operations
– Multan: 20 kilograms of heroin seized from a car, with three suspects arrested
– Islamabad: 1 kilogram of ice and 2 kilograms of heroin seized from two suspects
