Transfer and posting of senior police officers in Balochistan
QUETTA: Transfer and posting of senior police officers have been made in the Balochistan police department.
According to a notification issued by the Central Police Office (CPO), Quetta, Captain (Retd) Asim Khan, who was awaiting posting order in the CPO, has been posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Naseerabad Range while his predecessor, Ayaz Ahmed Baloch has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Special Initiatives and International Cooperation, CPO.
Similarly, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Special Initiatives and International Cooperation, CPO, Farhan Zahid has been transferred and posted as DIG Crimes Branch.
The Commandant Police Training College Quetta, Munir Ahmed has been transferred and closed to CPO, Quetta. Besides, Shahzad Akbar and Malik Muhammad Asghar, who were awaiting posting orders in CPO, have been posted as the Commandant PTC and SP Serious Crimes Win and Investigation Wing while his predecessor Captain (Retd) Zuhaib Muhsin has been posted as Superintendent of Police Kech while his predecessor Rashidur Rehman has been directed to report in the CPO.
