Quetta DC Chairs Review Meeting on Education
Quetta, September 16 — Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, chaired an important review meeting of the District Education Group. The session was attended by ADC (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar, District Education Officer, Deputy District Education Officers of all sub-divisions, and other officials.
Briefings covered sealed Afghan schools, salary issues of contract teachers, reports on functional and non-functional schools, and staff attendance. The DC confirmed that pay cuts were being enforced for absent staff and show-cause notices had been issued to habitual absentees.
He made it clear that negligence in teacher attendance and educational standards would not be tolerated. Officers were instructed to conduct regular visits and take strict action against absent staff to ensure smooth academic activities.
The meeting resolved to strengthen monitoring systems and field visits to improve institutional performance and teaching quality.
