Gwadar, October 7:
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized a training workshop on the Export Development Fund (EDF) at the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI).
The session was attended by Chamber President Jeehand Hoth, Secretary General Khalid Saif, Vice President Naeem Rasheed, businessman Haji Abdul Basit, Nagman Abdul, and other members of the local business community.
Speaking at the event, President Jeehand Hoth said that such programs play a vital role in strengthening Gwadar’s business sector. He emphasized that the Chamber, with TDAP’s support, is focused on promoting local products—especially the fish industry—at both national and international levels.
He added that awareness programs will also be held in Punjab to increase the domestic demand for fish, creating more opportunities for Gwadar’s fishermen and traders.
Other speakers lauded TDAP’s efforts, highlighting the EDF scheme as a valuable tool for boosting exports and connecting Gwadar’s industries with global markets.
