Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the people and government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on the occasion of AJK’s Foundation Day.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that October 24, 1947, marks a historic day when the Kashmiri people raised the flag of freedom against oppression and established their independent government — a symbol of their unwavering struggle for self-determination.
He emphasized that the day represents the Kashmiri people’s courage, resilience, and unyielding commitment to freedom. “The people of Pakistan express complete solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and will continue to extend moral and diplomatic support for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue,” Bugti affirmed.
Highlighting the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, he said these sacrifices would always be remembered as golden chapters of history. The Chief Minister reiterated that the people and government of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Kashmir in their just struggle.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti added that the Foundation Day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir reminds everyone of the spirit of unity, perseverance, and sacrifice that laid the foundation of freedom — a spirit that continues to inspire hope among oppressed Kashmiris today.
