Funeral Prayer of SP Adeel Akbar Offered at Police Lines; Laid to Rest with State Honours

The funeral prayer of SP Adeel Akbar was offered at Islamabad Police Lines with full state honours. The funeral was attended by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, senior police officials, law enforcement personnel, civil officers, and a large number of citizens.

Following the prayer, the body was dispatched to the officer’s native village for burial with official protocol.
The Islamabad Police spokesperson stated that SP Adeel Akbar was a dedicated, professional, and sincere officer who always performed his duties with integrity.

The atmosphere at the ceremony remained solemn as police contingents presented a salute in honour of the late officer.
The Islamabad Police expressed solidarity with his family, assuring complete support and assistance during this difficult time.
