Chaman – personnel of the Levies Force staged a large protest in Chaman, On Friday, strong opposition to the government’s decision to merge the force into the police. The rally, organized to press their demands, passed through major streets of the city and concluded outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office, where demonstrators raised slogans and formally recorded their protest.
Protesters carried placards and banners highlighting their grievances. They described the proposed integration as unjust, discriminatory, and harmful to the Pashtun region’s identity.
