Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shehbaz Khan visited the PTV News Bureau Office established at the Directorate of Information, Gilgit-Baltistan.
During his visit, he highlighted the crucial role of PTV News in promoting awareness about free, fair, and impartial elections and appreciated its efforts to project the activities of the Election Commission.
Later, the CEC met Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Aiman Shah and congratulated him, Secretary Information Dildar Ahmad Malik, and other officials on the establishment of the PTV News Bureau in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He expressed hope that the new bureau would play an effective and dynamic role in highlighting the region’s importance, developmental initiatives, and public issues. The Chief Election Commissioner also inspected various sections of the Information Department.
