This morning, a stunning natural spectacle appeared over Quetta and Dalbandin, Chagai: a rare Rainbow Bridge. Unlike a regular rainbow, this forms when the sun is very high and shines through hexagonal ice crystals in cirrus clouds, bending light into a bright, horizontal band of colors.
Locals were amazed, and some mistook it for smoke or missile tests—but it’s purely a natural phenomenon, sometimes called a “Fire Rainbow” for its vivid colors. The magical display lasts only a few minutes and is extremely rare due to the precise alignment of ice crystals needed.
A perfect reminder of nature’s rare wonders! 🌤️✨
