Sindh Police Conducts Major Operations Across Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Sukkur

Larkana / Bqapur, October 28, 2025: A police officer, Checkpost Incharge Mushtaq Teniu, was shot and killed by motorcycle-riding armed suspects during a routine check near Bqapur. The assailants escaped, prompting a large-scale police search operation. SSP Larkana, Ahmed Faisal Choudhry, visited the site and Trauma Center, praising the officer’s bravery. The martyred officer was also part of an anti-narcotics team.

Shaheed Benazirabad / Dor, October 28, 2025: Police engaged in an armed encounter with robbers near Mehran Highway. Two suspects were injured and arrested while attempting to flee with stolen property, including a motorcycle and cash. Three police officers were injured and taken to hospital. Weapons, explosives, and multiple motorcycles were recovered from the suspects’ homes, which were subsequently demolished and set on fire. SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, Shabbir Ahmed Sethar, commended the officers’ bravery and announced rewards. He reiterated zero tolerance for crime and narcotics in the district.

Sukkur, October 28, 2025: Sukkur Police, under SSP Azhar Khan, conducted a crackdown on illegally residing Afghan nationals. Five undocumented individuals were arrested in Patni area and booked under the Foreigners Act. Citizens have been urged to report information on illegal Afghan residents to the nearest police station or dial 15.
