Chilas: Deputy Commissioner Diamer, Captain (R) Ata-ur-Rehman Kakar, announced that Babusar Road has been completely closed to all traffic due to heavy snowfall.
He urged travelers and tourists to exercise caution in their travel plans and use the Karakoram Highway (KKH) as an alternative route. Authorities emphasized that if weather conditions improve in the coming days, the public will be promptly informed about the reopening of Babusar Road.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that district administration and rescue teams are closely monitoring the situation to provide maximum assistance and safety for the public.
