Major Tribal Leaders Join PPP During Meeting With CM Sarfaraz Bugti

QUETTA, Nov 20:

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, welcomed several tribal elders and influential local figures from Khuzdar and surrounding areas who formally announced their joining of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Wednesday.

The delegation was led by PPP leader Agha Shakeel Ahmed Durani. PPP provincial president Sardar Umar Gorgage, provincial minister Mir Sadiq Umrani, senior leader Ali Madad Jatak and provincial general secretary Rubani Kakar were also present.

Notable new entrants included JUI (B) Provincial Council member Raees Muhammad Akbar Gangu, Raees Muhammad Afzal, former councillor Ismail Mengal, Baloch Khan, Muhammad Hasni, Abdul Ghani Samalani, Mola Bakhsh Zehri, and multiple members of the National Party Khuzdar.

CM Bugti congratulated the new members and said their inclusion reflects a positive shift in Balochistan’s political landscape. He said PPP has always prioritised public service, democratic values and provincial development.

He added that strengthening the party across districts ensures political stability and pledged continued efforts for peace, development and job creation across Balochistan.
