The Provincial Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar formally inaugurated the Endoscopy and Children High Dependency Unit established in the Gastroenterology Department of Sandeman Provincial Headquarters Hospital Quetta (SPHHQ) on Tuesday.
QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar formally inaugurated the Endoscopy and Children High Dependency Unit established in the Gastroenterology Department of Sandeman Provincial Headquarters Hospital Quetta (SPHHQ) on Tuesday.
Also present on the occasion were Medical Superintendent of SPHHQ, Dr. Noorullah Musakhail, Deputy Country Representative of UNHCR, Head of UNHCR Sub-Office, Commissioner Afghan Refugees, Arbab Talib, Head of Gastro Department, Professor Dr. Sadiq Achakzai, Professor Dr Usman Tareen, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ghulam Sarwar, Chairman Young Doctors Association, Dr. Bahar Shah and other concerned high ups.
The Minister Health said that inexpensive and high standard healthcare facilities are right of every citizen. He said that the diseases of liver and gastrointestinal are the main reasons of death in the country. He said that the international and advance endoscopy procedures not only save the patients but also save them from the unpleasant process of surgery.
Earlier, the Deputy Country Representative of UNHCR and Medical Superintendent of Sandeman Hospital also addressed the occasion.
