Thatta Police have launched extensive snap checking operations across the district to maintain peace and security, following directives from IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, DIGP Hyderabad Tariq Razzaq Dharejo, and SSP Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bajarani.
During the operations, several suspicious individuals were screened using advanced search devices, while motorcycles, rickshaws, passenger vans, buses, and other vehicles were thoroughly inspected.
Under the province-wide traffic regulation campaign, tinted glasses and fancy number plates were removed from multiple vehicles, while motorcycles without number plates were impounded under Section 550 Cr.P.C.
All SDPOs along with their respective SHOs continue snap checking at key locations, especially on entry and exit points of the city, to prevent any untoward incidents.
According to the Thatta Police spokesperson, the primary objective of these operations is to sustain law and order and ensure public safety throughout the district.
