QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has extended heartfelt congratulation and best wishes to the Sikh community of Pakistan, particularly those living in Balochistan, on occasion of the 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that Balochistan has always been a land of interfaith harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect, where people belonging to different religions, cultures, and communities have lived together in peace and brotherhood for centuries.
He said that on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, “we share in the joy and celebrations of our Sikh community.”
The provincial government, he added, would continue to take all possible measures for the protection of minority rights and their welfare.
The Chief Minister assured that wherever the Sikh community needs support or assistance, the Government of Balochistan would provide it without any discrimination.
He emphasized that all minorities in the province are an important part of the social fabric, and their role in promoting peace, development, and harmony is commendable.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti further stated that all religious minorities living in Pakistan are entitled to full religious freedom, protection, and equal civic rights-in complete accordance with the spirit of the Constitution of Pakistan.
He maintained that the provincial government continue its efforts to promote brotherhood, love, and respect among people of all religions, races, and communities, as unity is the true strength and identity of Pakistan.
