14 Wanted Suspects, Including Two High-Reward Fugitives, Surrender to Larkana Police Amid Ongoing Nijat Mehran Operation

LARKANA, July 18: Fourteen wanted suspects, including two high-profile fugitives carrying combined government-announced rewards of Rs2.5 million, surrendered to Larkana Police as pressure mounted under the Sindh government’s ongoing Nijat Mehran Operation, according to an official statement issued by the Office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Larkana Range.
Police said the surrendering suspects included Gulab Jiho, who carried a reward of Rs2 million, and Ghahram Jiho, carrying a reward of Rs500,000. The other suspects were identified as Mujahid Jiho, Ali Gul Jiho, Pareel Jiho, Ismail Jiho, Sajjad Jiho, Imtiaz Jiho, Dilshad Jiho, Aslam Jiho, Gulab Jiho, Sajjad Jiho, Bashir Jiho and Yaseen Jiho.
According to the police, the suspects had been wanted in multiple serious criminal cases and were allegedly among the principal figures in the 15-year-old Jiho-Dahani tribal conflict, which authorities said has claimed 25 lives over the years.
The police described the mass surrender as a significant development in the ongoing crackdown on organized crime and violent offenders under the Nijat Mehran Operation. Officials said legal proceedings against the surrendered suspects will continue in accordance with the law.
