QUETTA: The Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini has stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has not been granted permission to hold a public meeting in Quetta on Friday (today).
Speaking to a section of the media, DC Quetta said that the Balochistan High Court has also rejected PTI’s petition seeking permission for the rally.
Mehrullah Badini said that there are already security concerns in the city, and the Home Department has imposed Section 144, which prohibits public gatherings.
It is worth mentioning that PTI had announced plans to hold a public meeting on November 7 (today) at the Hockey Ground in Quetta.
