Sibi, December 18, 2025: Sibi Police conducted a major operation, successfully recovering 18 stolen motorcycles and 6 smartphones involved in recent theft and robbery cases. The details were shared during a press conference held at Sibi City Police Station, attended by SDPO Sibi Ashraf Jamali, SHO City Ghulam Ali Abro, Inspector Raja Waqas, Sub-Inspector Syed Manwar Shah, and Chairman Municipal Committee Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajjak.
According to officials, a minor suspect involved in a recent theft was apprehended with the help of CCTV footage. Following his interrogation, police raided nearby nomad settlements, leading to the recovery of the stolen motorcycles and smartphones.
SDPO Ashraf Jamali also reported the recovery of 1,010 grams of hashish from another suspect, Zahid Hara, under the Narcotics Act. He noted that theft and robbery incidents had increased in recent weeks, but effective police strategy had resulted in successful operations, boosting departmental morale.
Chairman Municipal Committee Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajjak lauded the police for their high performance and awarded the team a cash prize of PKR 50,000. The police reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring public safety and stated that lawbreakers will be dealt with firmly under the law.
