Parliamentary Secretary Danyal Chaudhry Urges Strategic AI Adoption at AI X Future Summit 2025

Islamabad, December 18, 2025: Parliamentary Secretary for Information & Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, called for the strategic adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive Pakistan’s national development during his keynote address at the AI X Future Summit 2025, held at Bahria University. The summit brought together educators, policymakers, media professionals, and students to discuss AI’s impact on governance, media, and innovation.

Barrister Danyal emphasized that AI is now a “defining force of the present,” with the potential to transform Pakistan’s economy, governance, and information landscape. He highlighted the government’s commitment under the National Economic Transformation Plan (Uraan Pakistan 2024–2029) to integrate digital innovation and technology-driven governance as pillars of national progress.

He noted that AI can enhance transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity in public institutions, particularly in information dissemination, media regulation, and citizen engagement. Barrister Danyal also stressed the responsible role of media in the AI era, highlighting its ability to combat misinformation, build public trust, and the need for strong ethical frameworks and collaboration across sectors.
