IG Sindh Reviews Police Training System, Stresses Capacity Building
Highlighted the importance of professional development, IG Odho said the Training Branch is the backbone of the police service

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho chaired an introductory meeting at the Central Police Office Karachi to review the overall affairs, initiatives, and performance of the Sindh Police Training Branch.
The meeting was attended by the Additional IG Training Sindh, DIGs of Training and Headquarters Sindh, and the AIG Welfare. DIG Training briefed the meeting on various Sindh Police training centers, colleges, schools, training curricula, and modules.
IG Sindh reviewed the status of training courses, staff, trainers, residential facilities, infrastructure, and other related matters at training centers. He emphasized that capacity must be enhanced gradually, stating that better training leads to better discipline.
Highlighting the importance of professional development, IG Odho said the Training Branch is the backbone of the police service, adding that only well-trained officers and personnel can ensure effective protection of the public.
