Kohlu, January 24, 2026:
Superintendent of Police (SP) Kohlu, Muhammad Tayyab Iqbal, visited Lassee Zai Police Station and conducted a detailed review of security arrangements at Tambu Dam. The SP was briefed on overall police performance, personnel attendance, records, and security measures. DSP Sher Muhammad Mari, Reader SP Sehrab Khetran, and other officials accompanied him.
SP Tayyab Iqbal directed the officers and personnel deployed at Tambu Dam to remain alert, conduct effective patrols, and closely monitor sensitive areas. Addressing officers and staff, he emphasized that protecting citizens’ lives and property is the police’s foremost duty. He stressed the importance of professional conduct, public cooperation, and proactive measures to maintain law and order in the district.
The SP also highlighted continuous monitoring, training, and field visits to further enhance the professional capabilities of the force. He urged personnel to remain disciplined, courteous, and responsible while on duty, noting that sustainable peace is only possible with the support of the community. Citizens were advised to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police to ensure timely action.
