Balochistan Government Prioritizes Youth Employment, Economic Growth
Quetta Jan. 28: The provincial government of Balochistan has launched several initiatives to promote economic growth and provide employment opportunities to the youth. Chief Secretary Balochistan has emphasized the importance of addressing economic deprivation, poverty, and the impacts of climate change in the province ¹.
Under the Balochistan Rural Support Program, the government aims to create employment opportunities for 80,000 households and provide interest-free loans to 12,000 individuals. The program also focuses on promoting entrepreneurship and skills development among the youth.
4,320 TVET graduates will be trained in various skills to enhance their employability.
– Potential SMEs will be provided grants of up to Rs. 4 million to promote entrepreneurship.
– The program aims to create employment opportunities for 80,000 households. 12,000 individuals will be provided interest-free loans through the Akhuwat program.
The government’s efforts aim to improve the standard of living for the people of Balochistan and promote sustainable economic growth in the province.
