ANF Strikes Hard on Drug Trafficking: 348.754 kg Narcotics Seized, 3 Arrested
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on drug smuggling, arresting 3 suspects and seizing 348.754 kg of narcotics worth over Rs. 5.63 crore in 8 operations. The successful raids were conducted across various cities, including Siyalokot, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Balochistan.
Key Seizures:
– Siyalokot: 5.4 kg of ice recovered from a parcel bound for Netherlands, one suspect arrested.¹
– Lahore: 500 grams of heroin seized from a parcel containing ladies’ clothing destined for Britain.
– Rawalpindi: 54 grams of chemical material recovered from a parcel sent to Britain via courier service.
– Balochistan:
– 156.8 kg of charas seized in Qilla Abdullah.
– 90 kg of afyon and 7 kg of ice recovered from Chaghi district.
– 18 kg of afyon and 6 kg of heroin seized in Hub.
– 60 kg of charas seized in Pasni.
– Multan: 5 kg of ice found hidden in a car, two suspects arrested.
The ANF has registered cases against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act and initiated further investigation.
