QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has directed to take local elected representatives and people in confidence before implementation on any development project.

He particularly ordered to the concerned high ups to compile detailed report on advantages and disadvantages of Surbandan shipyard project and hire services of the consultant to review all aspects of the same.
The Chief Minister was speaking during briefing on the site of proposed Shipyard Project in Surbandan area of Gwadar on Friday.
He reached Gwadar along with the Provincial Ministers, parliamentarians and Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan.
He was briefed about the Shipyard project on its site.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister stressed that it is necessary to take all the elected representatives and people of area on board before implementation on any project.
He said that implementation on the project would be useless without removing apprehensions of local fishermen.
He said that we have to look into what positive impacts would be casted on the life of common men.
He said that we would not be making any decision against the public interest and any final decision would be made after thorough consultation.
He directed to the concerned to devise acceptable formula after making consultation with the local elected parliamentarians, elders and general public.
The Chief Minister on the occasion expressed displeasure over the illegal trawling in the coastal areas of Balochistan.
He said that if the situation of illegal fishing continued then the marine life would be extinct. He said that the illegal trawling has brought the marine life at brink of destruction, as such it would have to be stopped anyway.
