ANP Marks 12th Death Anniversary of Bashir Bilour
Peshawar: The Awami National Party (ANP) commemorated the 12th death anniversary of its leader and former provincial minister, Bashir Ahmad Bilour, who was martyred in a suicide attack on December 22, 2012.¹ In a message, ANP Central President Aimal Wali Khan paid tribute to Bilour, saying he was a symbol of bravery and service for the entire Pashtun nation.
Khan praised Bilour’s courageous struggle against terrorism, stating that his sacrifices for peace in the Pashtun region will always be remembered. He emphasized that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa feel Bilour’s absence deeply in the current circumstances.
The ANP leader reiterated the need to honor the sacrifices of martyrs like Bilour and work towards making the dream of peace a reality. He criticized the provincial and federal governments for their failure to eradicate terrorism, leaving the people vulnerable to terrorist threats.
